Culture

At PlattForm, we earn our playtime, and we use it wisely.

What does that mean? Well, our Tuesday candy cart keeps us sugar-buzzed. Our break room spurs on competition in everything from pool and ping pong to foosball and video games – while longtime office mascot Jerry Garcia watches from the corner. A walk down any given hall will yield a thousand strange non sequiturs.

We’ve had talent shows and flag football games. We answer silly survey questions and share exploits in our monthly newsletter. Our Culture Club plans all kinds of things for us to do, like our annual 12-hour video competition or the time we paid to pie managers in their faces. We theme our conference rooms – from superheroes to sports to the Wizard of Oz. And every day one employee sends out a random funny cat photo – just another way to say, “Good morning and welcome to the office.”

Here at PlattForm, the word “coworker” takes on a whole new meaning because we put the personal back into business. That’s how it’s done: We serve our clients and enjoy ourselves at the same time. It’s not recreation – it’s workreation.

To bring about clearer understanding of this workreation concept, be sure to read what PlattFormers have to say in our culture book, Resonance.
